Basic Instinct is a Vancouver based stoner/doom/sludge duo. The 2-piece is made up of Carly on guitar and vocals (Doldrum, Hard Bitch) and Joy On Drums (Joyce Collingwood, e.s.l., The People Verses). Mood and power draw influence from nature, instinct and a shared Virgo Moon.
